The shutting down while I'm in the middle of something doesn't happen all the time. The jumping when I scroll does. I've disabled most everything to see if there was a reaction, I've dumped the program and reloaded, I've gone back to all original settings, and it still does it. I've had Firefox for 100 years but the last year or so has been driving me nuts. Whats wrong with this program or is it my MAC? I don't know if this means anything but I have the Yahoo news page open when I open Firefox. Sometimes when I'm going down the list reading the items, it'll kick out and go to my computer home page. When I go back in the Yahoo news page has been updated. The scroll still jumps about 1-2 inches when I get to mid page but the news page has changed. If this is something then why when I'm in a site buying something and haven't finalized the transaction, I'm instantly back to my computer home page. I then have to go find the site and start the transaction all over again. What to do, Joe
