Is there any way to check extension history?

Used to have an extension for site translations but the current google translate one i have is just not that great so i would love to see witch one i used to have before this one.

You would need a backup copy of the extensions.json file in the Firefox profile folder from when you used that translate extension to see what extensions you used in the past.

You can also search the Add-ons website for translate extensions and read the reviews to see if the recognize that extension.

You can check in Windows Explorer if there is a previous version of the extensions.json file available.
