I need to restore a set of pages from 1 or 2 sessions back. Once I close all my pages and am left with Restore Session, how do I close that and go to the next most recent Restore Session?

If you need to rescue any data from them, just move them out of the profile folder to some location where Firefox doesn't look for them. You can try to read out their contents using this tool: https://www.jeffersonscher.com/res/scrounger.html

Firefox only keeps a sessionstore file from the previous session, so you would need to have older sessionstore copies.

Do you have a backup copy of sessionstore.jsonlz4 from that session ?

If not then you need an extension.
