This post starts like a blues song...the google blues....now lets all sing...... da da da da da da da da ........I woke up this morning...... the sun was in the sky......da da da da da da da da....I switched on android smartphone..... i swear I nearly died....... gooole had eaten my navigation bar.........now I ju' want to cry........oh yeah....I got the default search engine blues.......my first ammendments out the window.......etc. etc.

IN THE INTERESTS OF FREEDOM AND DEMOCRACY, i DO NOT WANT TO HAVE ANY "DEFAULT SEARCH ENGINES" IMPOSED ON ME BY A FORUM, OR A COMMITTEE SOMEWHERE, OR THE CHINESE COMMUNIST PARTY, OR THE ILLINOIS NAZIS OR ANYONE ELSE. I JUST WANT TO TYPE https:// and the address I want to go to. Is this no longer possible with firefox on android ? If not, is there some kind of plugin I can download which will give me back a simple search engine without all the reaaaallyyy annnoyyyinggg "helpful" stuff I don't need ?
