pdfjs.disabled=true is ignored and opens PDF always in the internal PDF viewer

Try the following public url to open with Acrobat Reader or set the download option in FireFox options: https://support.hpe.com/hpesc/public/docDisplay?docLocale=en_US&docId=c04203920 It will open always in the built-in PDF Viewer of FireFox. pdfjs.disabled is set to true. Any idea how to change this?

Hi robert.scharpf, this page is a bit of a special case because they are using the pfs.js web application to serve an HTML version of the PDF, instead of sending the PDF directly to Firefox. They look the same at first, but if you click the Find icon toward the left end of the embedded PDF viewer's toolbar, you'll see one of the differences (the built-in viewer uses Firefox's standard "Find bar").

So unfortunately, I think you have to use the embedded viewer's Download button to get the actual PDF:
