firefox keeps going back to previous page randomly , but i have not changed anything

Posted

i have the same OS and all else is same, but recently firefox keeps going back to the previous page randomly , and i have to click that forward arrow to get it back. a real pain as it reloads and i have to start over from what i was reading/copy-pasting etc. Perhaps it's a bug with a recent firefox update?

First I heard of this.

https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/update-firefox-latest-version?cache=no Did you update Firefox to the latest version? 72.0.1

Is this with all websites/pages, some, a few?

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link}

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?
