When I open Amazon.com the search always automatically fills with an old search, and continues to do so after deleting the search and closing down Firefox. It does not do this in Iexplore.

Nothing changed.

When I go to Amazon it still does the same thing I sent you. Reverting to the same search and opening a box with all the titles which include the search. If I clear the search and do another search it will find that item, but them reverts back to the above search and opens the box with the included titles again.

Iexplore or Chrome does not do this!

I did a virus and adware scan and nothing was found.

Please help, or I will have to quit Firefox, as I use Amazon a lot.

Thanks; Chuck Hurst

I finally fixed it. I signed out of Amazon, closed Firefox and re-started. I then signed into Amazon again. No more problem. So there is a switch being turned on at Amazon thru Firefox that lingers. CH
