Firefox constantly crashes without any regularity

Since I got a new laptop (Lenovo Thinkpad T480S) I'm struggling with this problem. Right after a fresh install of pop_OS 19.10 Firefox crashes on a regular basis. A fresh install of the browser or safe mode did not solve the problem. The latest crash IDs are: bp-a97f789e-7f56-44ef-8eb6-984d10191107 bp-9966a9ff-e3f6-47a9-8993-2e8cb0191107
