Disqus Comments won't load in Firefox on the New Civil Rights Movement website
I have been using Firefox for over a decade, just this past month Comments won't load on the website for the New Civil Rights Movement. When I click the "see Comments" link NOTHING HAPPENS. I've tried using Firefox in "Safe Mode", but it made no difference. My Flash software is up to date. I don't have this problem in either Chrome or Internet Explorer, and only on that one website.
Please don't tell me to clear my cookies or History. I tried that and it didn't work either.

Other users have had issues with Disqus comments not loading due to content blockers they're using. Could you go to about:addons and let me know if you're using anything like that?
I already said the problem exists even in Safe Mode! So it can't be any Addons.
You are running a very old version of Firefox. Can you please update to Firefox 68.0.2 or later and let us know if there continues to be an issue?
No, I will not. I am running this "very old version" because the switch to "Quantum" Firefox is an unmitigated disaster! Apparently it hasn't occurred to the "geniuses" at Mozilla that one of the major reasons people chose Firefox in the first place is because of all the Add-ons one could use with it. Since you switched to "Quantum" most of the Add-ons became inoperative, and no replacement has been available!
I've noticed that Firefox's market share has long been in decline, and the switch to "Quantum" hasn't helped. Maybe you should learn something from this before your market share reaches zero!
Meanwhile, if this is the only "solution" you can come up with, I guess it's time for me to switch to one of your competitors. A shame, since until now I really preferred Firefox.

I'd suggest you give 68 a try, you may be surprised at the functionality.
I suggest this kind of "response" (and the attitude it reflects) is why Firefox is on its deathbed! As I said previously, you people seem determined to reduce your market share to zero, don't let me stop you.
I tried an earlier version of "Quantum", and it was an unmitigated disaster. Fortunately, I backup my computer religiously (especially when trying something as "radically" new as that), so I was able to Restore my previous version (though with the loss of some of my Add-ons).
Here's a "solution" I might consider. If there's a way to install the latest version of Firefox without overriding or replacing my older one, I might try it, and see if things have improved. That way, if they haven't, I can simply remove "Quantum" and continue using my older version.
I'm able to do this with lots of other programs (for example, I have two separate versions of Compare Advance), and it's even possible (for the daring) to install two separate operating systems (a.k.a. "Dual Booting"), so why can't I do the same with Firefox?
In any case, I can post Comments on some websites that use Disqus using my current version, and for those where I can't (such as the New Civil Rights Movement website), I can simply use Chrome or Internet Explorer. I'm sure Microsoft and Google like that!
