Here is an article that will allow you to set up private browsing so that your location is no longer shared.

A website can do a reverse DNS lookup to get your location. The accuracy depends on how your IPS reports your location (known location of the gateway).

You can use websites like these to see how your location is reported via a reverse DNS look up of your IP:

I actually found a setting in Bing that shuts off ads believe it or not.
