I was told to find my https privacy settings to solve a problem, but I can't find that setting

more options

When I attempted to access certain sites, I received the attached loading page instead-from that page but also from other attempted sites. I was told that I should edit my https settings in my browser to solve the issue. The exact quote being 'set your privacy settings to https'. Unfortunately, even though I was refered to using Firefox, I still cannot find what this setting is supposed to refer to. Can anyone help please? It says to contact the website owners but I can't actually contact them without getting on the site to figure out their contacts first >_>

Could you check this article and see whether anything here is helpful in resolving the issue: Secure connection failed and Firefox did not connect.

That's perfect, thanks. Guess I missed that when looking for answers. Whoops >_< You wouldn't happen to know browsers that don't require new TLS security updates would you? For a temporary fix while I try to access the site owners to let them know about that.

There's not enough information on the page to know why the connection didn't work. You could try other browsers on your system like Microsoft Edge and see whether it can connect.
