Have just had a major upgrade of Windows 10. Now clicking the left mouse button has the effect of clicking the right button too. Apps other than Firefox and Thunderbird seem unaffected. Mouse settings in Control Panel look normal.

Chosen solution

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link} by holding down the <Shift> (Mac=Options) key, and then starting Firefox.

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?

Problem disappeared over lunchtime (it was genuine!). Good to know about safe mode.
