I guess switching to google chrome after all of these years is the answer. Too bad about losing firefox after all of these years.

Since I've tried all of the options and firefox keeps getting slower and less reliable after backing up my computer tomorrow morning I will install goodle chrome which millions of other poeple have and try that. I've written to many of these sites that I'm have a problem with and they all say that switch to google chrome and everything will work perfectl. Too bad for firefox after all of these years. I guess they will just phase themselves out. Tom

Please install the 60.0.1 update, which has some performance improvements. If that still doesn't help, you can try refreshing Firefox, Refresh Firefox - reset add-ons and settings
