Bookmarks in Firefox v.56 vs v.57
Windows 7pro is my operating system.
I have ~ 1mb of Bookmarks organized and saved in v.56; however, v.57+ as far as I can tell will destroy my organization.
Why should I destroy 20+ years of organization based on the requirements of my work?
And why can't Mozilla provide the option of maintaining older versions of Bookmarks and the Toolbar?
Seems like you've destroyed a wonderful product to cater to the game-playing millennials and sacrifice those of use you do real work!!
ps: I learned to program using Assembler, Fortran II on 4k, 8k and 16k computers. I do not surf the net nor belong to Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn or any of the other data-steeling trash websites.
Life is fine using DuckDuckGo, Ghoastery, https everywhere and common sense!!!

Hi, if you have worries which is ok to have as I would also. Please do this always :
- https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/export-firefox-bookmarks-to-backup-or-transfer
Update and if bookmarks get out of wack then import the backup.
The Bookmarks Toolbar is there still : you can get at it 2 ways to turn it on : From 3Bar Menu --> Optimize at bottom of page Toolbars, or Mouse to the top of the Browser and Right Click and then Click Bookmarks Toolbar to put a check mark and can turn on the Menu Bar from there as well.
You can also use Bookmark Manager Extensions : https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/search/?platform=windows&q=bookmark+manager
