During my time online I've been experiencing firefox not working. I keep getting timed out error message while a website is loading. I always have to restart my computer because I can't do anything. I have tried closing out and opening firefox again which doesn't work. I have uninstalled and reinstalled which didn't help. I have rebooted which still hasn't help. Resetting my wireless connection also hasn't helped. This has been going on for about a week and I'm getting tired of it. My online time in the evening is valuable to me and I hate wasting my time because firefox isn't working correctly. Any suggestions on what I can do so I don't have to reboot my computer multiple times?

Separate Security Issue: Update your Flash Player or remove it using these links; http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/uninstall-flash-player-windows.html Uninstall Flash Player | Windows http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/uninstall-flash-player-mac-os.html Uninstall Flash Player | Mac

Note: Windows users should download the ActiveX for Internet Explorer. and the plugin for Plugin-based browsers (like Firefox).

Note: Windows 8 and Windows 10 have built-in flash players and Adobe will cause a conflict. Install the plugin only. Not the ActiveX.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link} by holding down the <Shift> (Mac=Options) key, and then starting Firefox.

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?

There is security software like Avast, Kaspersky, BitDefender and ESET that intercept secure connections and send their own certificate.

Thank you for the reply. I have tried the crash report and there is nothing for unsubmitted reports. I have uninstalled the flash player which has helped so far. I'll know by the end of the time tonight if this problem has been solved.

2-3xs per day. It has already happened twice today. I'm usually on line for a couple hours per day. Every time this happens I have to restart my computer because I don't have an available web browser. This also cripples chrome, but my prefer browser is firefox.

So today I was online two different times. First time I had no issues. Second time I started it in safe mode and I still had the same problem.
