Forgot my PW to log into SYNC. Says if I change the PW I will data like History and Bookmarks. I am trying to get Bookmarks onto my new system. ??? No SYNC??

I want to get my Bookmarks onto my new system. I have evidently forgot my SYNC Login PW. It is not either that I tried. It says IF I change the PW, I will loose data like History and Bookmarks. Since Bookmarks is what I am after I don't want them deleted. Looks like a 'Catch 22'......Can you help me further somehow with my PW or give me an alternative way to migrate my Bookmarks from the old system? The Bookmarks are not kept 'local' on my system are they? Fire Fox DB?

Go to one of the other devices on the sync and get a copy of what you need. You might also find the password you are looking for.

In the event that the passwords information is lost, you should record all information in a separate text file somewhere else on your hard drive, or written down. You can easily copy and paste if you need to do so. If you are concerned about someone else looking at that file, you can compress it using a password.
