Since update yesterday, 10-13, system has crashed, completely, sometimes screen goes dark them maybe 20 or 30 sec later comes back onand program continues.
also can no longer click on full screen box to have drop down enableing clicl on info button to save webb site adr. on screen.

Is this a work environment? Are all the systems the same?
Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link} by holding down the <Shift> (Mac=Options) key, and then starting Firefox.
A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?
this is home, same environment as several updates back, was working perfectly until last update installed yes eve, 10-13. This is hapening randomly, may work ok for an hr or more, has only completely crshed once, but screen goes dark in middle of program, maybe netflix, or some other vidio. then 20 or 30 sec later resumes at point left off, but have to hit the start again.
In the address bar, type about:crashes<enter>. Note: If any reports do not have BP- in front of the numbers/letters, click it to submit them.
The crash report is several pages of data. We need the report numbers to see the whole report.
Using your mouse, mark the most recent 7 - 10 crash reports, and copy them. Now go to the reply box and paste them in.

Update not the problem, I have power problem, was coincidence that sys crashed after update. Thanks for ur response. :-)
Were you talking about a program or the building power?
building power, fixed it. will adv if have screen go dark again.
Go to your local department / electronics store and look around for a UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) that is useful for you. The lowest price is $50 + -. There are also units on the market that plug into the computer. So if the battery gets low, it will shut down the computer to protect it.
