alt + 'key' shortcut cannot customized in Firefox version 52.0.2

Operating System: windows 10

we customized the following shortcuts ( i.e Alt+S, Alt+T, Alt+B ) in our web site. This is working good in previous version of Firefox(<52.0.2). But not well in current version 52.0.2. We have used event.preventDefault() to block default functionality of browser, but this is not working. Both browser's default short cut key(Alt+'Key' ) functionality and our custom short cut functionality is working simultaneously. could you please help me, how to avoid browser short cut key functionality?
