The style sheets with all the rules for laying out the page are retrieved from a different server. (Attached screenshot.) Can you load this file if you click the link directly:

If you want to check the Network Monitor on your Firefox to compare with the attached screenshot, here's how. While view the login page, either:

  • "3-bar" menu button > Developer > Network
  • (menu bar) Tools > Web Developer > Network

Firefox should display a panel in the lower part of the tab. To test what Firefox is fetching, do a Shift+Reload (e.g., Ctrl+Shift+r) and a list of files should appear. The status code at the left normally is 200, indicating a successful load; a 301 or 302 indicates a redirect; higher numbers usually indicate problems. Does yours look anything like mine?

P.S. I can't figure out why the "warning lock" for Cabela's servers. Usually it's an obsolete encryption protocol or cipher, but this site seems up-to-date. ???

Um, help me understand where the process is breaking down. I'll try to go step by step.

How do I solve this? Go to Google Chrome for my browser and do away with Firefox?

The file loads. How does that help my problem?

That tells me Firefox is not blocked from accessing that server. Thanks.

(2) Network Monitor results. You said your Firefox is loading the same files mine is. However, apparently, when it comes time to apply the results to the text, it's breaking down.

Is this the only site where you have this problem?

Could you test in Firefox's Safe Mode? In Safe Mode, Firefox temporarily deactivates extensions, hardware acceleration, and some other advanced features to help you assess whether these are causing the problem.

If Firefox is not running: Hold down the Shift key when starting Firefox.

If Firefox is running: You can restart Firefox in Safe Mode using either:

  • "3-bar" menu button > "?" button > Restart with Add-ons Disabled
  • Help menu > Restart with Add-ons Disabled

and OK the restart.

Both scenarios: A small dialog should appear. Click "Start in Safe Mode" (not Refresh).

Any improvement?

I appreciate your help very much

Sure. Firefox's Safe Mode isn't a permanent solution, but if the page works in Safe Mode, most likely one of your add-ons is breaking the page. Just a question of which it is...
