how do I eliminate "Database Error" popups that block some posts?

I try to open posts on several sites and get this message: _________________________________________ Database Error Database error 

   Load the page again by clicking the Refresh button in your web browser.
   Open the home page, then try to open another page.
   Click the Back button to try another link.
