after a few seconds on a site like ebay or autotrader etc i get redirected to google.com/afs/sds
i use firefox as a search engine. but when i go to certain sites like e bay, amazone, auto trader, or certain partstores. after a few seconds on that site i get automaticaly redirected to a blank site with from www.google.com/afs/ads?Q
if i hit the back button it goes back to the original site, then back to google after a few seconds.
how do I fix this? thanks

Type about:addons<enter> in the address bar to open your Add-ons Manager. Hot key; <Control>(Mac=<Command>)<Shift> A)
In the Add-ons Manager, on the left, select Extensions. Remove Google Anything. Now do the same in the computers Programs Folder.
Windows: Start > Control Panel > Uninstall Programs. Mac: Open the "Applications" folder. Linux: Check your user manual.
You may have ad / mal-ware. Further information can be found in the Troubleshoot Firefox issues caused by malware article.
Run most or all of the listed malware scanners. Each works differently. If one program misses something, another may pick it up.
After the problem is fixed, Bookmark and use this; Download the Mozilla Search Reset {web link} This add-on is very simple: on installation, it backs up and then resets your search preferences and home page to their default values, and then uninstalls itself. This affects the search bar, URL bar searches, and the home page.
As a test, could you try using the problem sites in a private browsing window? You can either:
- Open a new private window first (Ctrl+Shift+p) then load the site, or
- Right-click a link or bookmark to the site and choose Open [Link] in New Private Window

tried opening in private window but soon after window pops up, the google site breaks in again. I ran malware bytes yesterday, and it didnt come up with anything.

Boot the computer in Windows Safe Mode with network support (press F8 on the boot screen) to see if that helps.
