Used the "refresh firefox" button due to browser hesitation. Indicated it would save my bookmarks but they're gone. Tried to "restore" them but didn't work.
I used the "refresh firefox" button because the browser was continually hesitating. The instructions indicated this would save things such as my bookmarks, etc. However, when it was done there are no bookmarks. I tried to restore the booksmarks but got a message it was unable to use the file created when I did the refresh. Needless to say, I'm really ticked off. Any suggestions?

Look on your desktop. Do you see a folder called; Old Firefox?
