Why won't java version 8 Update 66 work with firefox 43.0.2?
New laptop, Win 10, latest firefox, latest java. It is disabled and enable option is greyed out? WHY??????????? I cannot log into my account at a couple of places because java won't work and I cannot enable it. Getting fed up with firefox, gonna take it out back and shoot it soon.

Make sure your Java (Not JavaScript) is up to date Verify Java and Find Out-of-Date Versions {web link}

Already have done that, it is up to date, no older versions detected. Option to enable is greyed out.
