For some reason, the Firefox preference dropdown disappeared and the epolife.com shows up instead of google. Is this a virus?

The epolife.com started showing up when I do a search instead of Google. I made Google my default.

I was going to reset the default and the preferences doesn't show up in the drop down. The only dropdown choice is quit.

I downloaded the newest Firefox but it didn't help.

I'm on a Mac.

Please advise. Thank you.

Type about:preferences#search<enter> in the address bar. Check the settings. Is epolife listed?
