I am getting an untrusted certificate error for clicksafe but with no option to add an exception
I have checked that my clock/date settings are correct and also tried deleting cert8.db but it doesn't work. If I uninstall Firefox and reinstall it then the problem goes away for a few days but it soon comes back. Hoping someone can help, thanks.

The page might open in a (i)frame. You can check that in the right-click context menu.
If you can't inspect the certificate via "I Understand the Risks" then try this:
Open the "Add Security Exception" window by pasting this chrome URL in the Firefox location/address bar and check the certificate:
- chrome://pippki/content/exceptionDialog.xul
In the location field of this window type or paste the URL of the website.
- retrieve the certificate via the "Get certificate" button
- click the "View..." button to inspect the certificate in the Certificate Viewer
You can inspect details like the issuer and the certificate chain in the Details tab of the Certificate Viewer. Check who is the issuer of the certificate. If necessary then you can attach a screenshot that shows the certificate viewer.
Thanks for the response. It normally happens when I do my Ocado shopping order so I won't be trying it for a week but it sounds good! I perhaps should have mentioned too that I have Kaspersky Internet Security in case it is tied up with that in any way.
That didn't work as when I put the URL in the excpetion box it said it was trusted and didn't need an exception! This is the URL:

Hi there. You can still click the [View...] button even if the site does not need an exception, see the attached image.
Kaspersky is one known offender when it comes to certificates. They, like some others, intercept secure connections and force them through their own process and certificate if certain protection/add-on options are enabled. This can sometimes be revealed when you inspect the certificate.
I cannot recall what the service/add-on is called in Kaspersky, but you could try to do this in Safe Mode in Firefox, which disables Extensions. How to start Safe Mode: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-firefox-issues-using-safe-mode#w_how-to-start-firefox-in-safe-mode. If it work seamlessly in Safe Mode, it's an Extension problem. If the issue persists, it's an issue with something else, potentially a Kaspersky component/setting.
Note that your System Details List shows multiple Flash plugins.

You can find the installation path of all plugins on the about:plugins page.
You can check the Flash player installation folder for multiple Flash player plugins and remove older version(s) of the plugin (NPSWF32) and possibly (re)install the latest Flash player.

I believe I have got rid of the old flash player but I am still getting the error. Although the Ocado link at the top of the page shows as I have previously stated. The actual error mentions ppipe.net:
"An error occurred during a connection to ppipe.net. Peer's certificate issuer has been marked as not trusted by the user. (Error code: sec_error_untrusted_issuer)
The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because the authenticity of the received data could not be verified. Please contact the web site owners to inform them of this problem."

Just thought I would let you know (and in case it helps anyone else) I got rid of this problem by installing Windows 10. Thanks to everyone who offered their help.
