Firefox randomly freezes. Cannot move on screen, select any functions, cancel or enter data

Entire PC affected. Can do nothing on the PC.

Something is accessing hard drive. Hare drive light is blinking rapidly as is there is a process running.

The Flash player 19.0 may actually be possible on Linux if using a freshplayer wrapper plugin to use the Pepper Flash from Chrome in Firefox.
