What are repeated "Firefox has crashed" popups?
My first concern is that the popups don't look legit. There is no Firefox logo or identifying info verifying that it's Firefox. That said, for the past 24 hours, the nondescript "Firefox has crashed" box has appeared at least half a dozen times. I do not respond to it, but close the box (paranoia reigns). It closes Firefox and I must log in again.
So: Is the alert authentic? If not, what then?
Also: Is the alert authentic? If so, what then?
Installed plug-ins per Mozilla:
- Adobe PDF Plug-In For Firefox and Netscape 11.0.12
- Google Update
- Shockwave Flash 18.0 r0
Thanks. Sincerely, What triggered this and how do I fix it? Woman
