FF 38.0.1, when try to sign into gmail the password page just keeps reloading, same user/pass works 100% in safari. OSX 10.9.5

worked 100% till a few days ago, believe it was last update then, if I remember correctly I set security from low to med.

That could be a problem with an extension like Blur that blocks privacy related data. You should always keep in mind that using extensions that block content can block more than you realize.

Clear the cache and remove cookies only from websites that cause problems.

"Clear the Cache":

  • Firefox > Preferences > Advanced > Network > Cached Web Content: "Clear Now"

"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:

  • Firefox > Preferences > Privacy > "Use custom settings for history" > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
