I am using a webchart program in Firefox on my Mac, and accidentally lost it before saving it. Is there any way to retrieve it?
Using MIE Webchart, writing important progress note, accidentally pushed 2 keys (unknown which) which closed the note without saving it. Fear nothing can be done but wondering if there is any syncing or archiving which could retrieve it.

Is that an online app at this website? http://www.mieweb.com/
If so, if your message didn't appear when you reloaded the page in Firefox I doubt if you will find it within Firefox data. I am basing that on the assumption that once you sign in too that website you are switched to an HTTPS connection (if that website is setup for real "security" of user data).
The best I can offer is to use the Text Area Cache extension (in the future) - https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/textarea-cache/ - to "cache" what you type in text areas you come across when using Firefox.

It would be really stupid if a web site does that. You should access the web site via HTTPS in the first place, and certainly prior to login.
