I keep getting asked to set Yahoo as default search engine, but it already is, so I have to keep refreshing Firefox.
Every few weeks I have to refresh Firefox to get rid of the box that asks me to set Yahoo as my default search engine. But it already is, and whether I click Yes or No I still get asked. This is more than annoying. How to fix this?

If you want to get rid of that "nag" - get rid of that Yahoo Toolbar extension, which very clearly is the source of that message. Or see Yahoo support to find out how to suppress that message from within that extension.

You mean Firefox will constantly nag if Yahoo is not the default? Whose not-so-bright idea was that? There is no way to turn off nags?
Yahoo IS the default but Firefox nags anyway, refuses to take either Y es or No for an answer.
