I wonder what sites my daughter browses after sitting in a corner with the laptop for hours, when asked a simple reply comes in nothing and thats the end of the conversation. I dont doubt on her, i want to know if she is simply wasting time or seriously working and being cool, well the question is here because the history is empty always...

Hi,

I'm not going to say anything about trying to "spy" on your daughters activities on her device.

If you are worried on what pages she visits and navigate too, it's easier to just configure the network than running after the devices in the household.

If she finds you are hunting the laptop to see browsing history, she will just change to using her phone ( if she has) instead and lock it with pin codes and so on. She can also easy just switch to Private Mode and avoid any local history for you to check.

To configure the network and web pages that are available, you find what your router is and as an option you can perhaps use https://www.opendns.com/home-internet-security/parental-controls/

But a better way is open discussion and guiding on how internet works, and what to stay away from and so on. If that's a worry.
