If I download the latest version will the browsing history of my existing version be lost or will it remain.

For various reasons I wish to retain my long term browsing history. I am concerned that if I download the latest version this history will be lost. Can anyone help.

hello Mugwumps, in principle it should work, but since you're using such an outdated version i don't think this particular update path is something that has been tested. just to be sure, i'd recommend creating a backup of your profile (which contains all personal data including your history) before you continue with the upgrade: Back up and restore information in Firefox profiles
