Hello.i just recently bought a laptop and it is an IBM Think Pad. Is the operating system on my laptop a windows or mac and exactly what is it?

Besides the dcorrect operating system what is the connection speed of an IBM Thinkpad? I am gonna get the MLB.tv and NFL.tv suscriptions and I need to know if my laptop can pick it up or not. I dont know where to look for my system capabilities or I wouldnt be here. I also need to know if my Browser is Internet Explorer 8 or higher,Firefox 20 or higher or Chrome 20 or higher and what the most current Adobe Flash Player is.Thank you for your time.
