So I recently reinstalled windows and noticed that if I select the option that asks me each time where a file should be saved before downloading it, the browser appears to begin downloading the file (I can see the .part file in the default folder) but the window that actually allows me to browse for a location in windows explorer never shows up and thus, I am not able to actually download the file. However, if I select the "pick a folder and everything will download to that folder" option, it downloads just fine. I'm wondering if there was a way to reinstall firefox but keep all if not most of my settings and tabs etc.

After the last Firefox update (146.0), my bookmarks bar only shows thumbnail images. The descriptive text which was previously black text on white back ground now appears to be white text on white background. (Whether my system is set to light theme or dark theme.) This happens on all of my Windows computers (both 10 and 11). How do I resolve this problem?

Hello, I just updated to Firefox version 146, and now the bookmarks and history in the sidebar are no longer visible because the background is yellow-green and the text is white...so, invisible!

I hope you will fix this quickly with a new update, as it's a real problem.

Every time I try to upload a file to the Microsoft Copilot 365 I keep getting the "Error Occurred Please Try Again" But when I switch to Chrome. I can upload the same files with no problem. Does anyone know why I get the "Error" with Firefox?

Hi everyone 🙋‍♂️

FF password manager seams to record password only for the root website as a reference regardless where we are in the website so... if we need two different psds inside a specific website, we're screwed ! Per instance :

For Fsi.com/account I set one password = p1 and for Fsi.com/webmail I set another password = p2

FF password manager store both passwords under Fsi.com so... the latest set overrides the first set.

How can we force FF password manager to reference the whole website path and not only the website root path ?

Hello. I was curious and allowed accuweather but now I regret that and want to get rid of it. But I cannot find it anywhere on my Firefox account, I have been loking everywhere but cannot find anyway to delete accuweather. It feels like a malware and I cannot get rid of it. Please help. When browsing on IMDb (see image attached) when I click on the "See All" button just above "Soundtrack" at the bottom of the image nothing happens. This should expand the list above it, in the case an actor's credits. I have NoScript 13.5.2 installed but all scripts are allowed here. I get this on all the IMDb pages.

Is there anyplace that shows how to use what the new release says on the 146.0. I got the message below when viewing new options in 146.0, but going to settings, sync just wants me to sign in and do a cloud backup.

Doesn't sound like what is in message below that I got after updating to 146.0. From what I found looking around, you are suppose to go to setting, sync, click on backup and choose location. There is no option backup, just an option to sign on. Below is message I got when checking what is in update 146.0:

Suddenly I can no longer connect to gmail or googlemail on mozilla. It works fine everywhere else. At present I'm having to use Microsoft Edge for emails. Everything else on Mozilla seems to work fine. I don't get any messages to say why. The input just sits there with the fullstop going left and right. Any ideas ?

My Bookmarks are missing. I see backups under the profile/bookmarkbackups folder but when I manage bookmarks, they are not in the restore dropdown. I have followed the steps to delete the places.sqlite but when I reopen firefox, I do not see the bookmarks have been restored. I thought it might have been related to Norton Utilities so I renewed a subscription but no luck. I also have a json file with my bookmarks but I cannot choose it from Manage Bookmarks, either
