Hi and thanks for your help. I was playing around with my DMARC settings for my new site and was looking around at who was hosting my WordPress domain for http://ibizignite.com, and Google directed me to GoDaddy. That was wrong. However, in my fooling around, somehow GoDaddy and this associate Westechnologies keeps popping up when I open up my browser after booting up my computer, and I cannot get rid of it. I don't know where to find it, because there is no associated extension anywhere in my extension list.

I tried to use another add-on to block it, and it does, but the darn site keeps appearing every startup after a fresh boot, and neither Westechnologies not GoDaddy appear anywhere in my Zone Map or anywhere else in my registry. Can anyone help me get rid of it please?

Please see the attached screenshot. I get this popup EVERY TIME I open FireFox. I've tried a number of different suggested "fixes" from Google Searches with no success.

I want this popup GONE.

I find it very difficult using Awsome screenshot, in fact I never use it, but used to use it, when it was on my tool bar, can I get it back there.

I cannot drag it from "customise tool bar" as it does not show there, it shows in my list of add ons, I have tried removing it, then reinstalling it.

in the firefox browser is there any way to see the casting the browser screen to chromecast on tv. similar to 'cast to media device' in edge browser or chrome browser.

Ever since the latest update, the picture-in-picture function stopped working properly. If I activate it, the video will automatically go to full screen, and I need to press the full screen button multiple times to move it down to a small box. I am using Firefox on a Mac laptop.

It is annoying that search executes immediately instead of triggering on enter keypress, especially when a web page is big. Is there any way to disable auto-search and trigger it only when you press enter?

I currently have a 'bad/rouge' session of Windows 7 Firefox (don't really know how that happened) open (7 'Windows', each with one empty Tab plus 1 'Window', with only 1 populated tab (Yahoo Mail)! I need to close Firefox in order to restart my laptop (strange things have been happening, including not being able to access the internet)!! On restarting, I want to be able to open Firefox with the previous session I had with my 8 'Windows', each with dozens and dozens of Tabs! Please help, I sorely need those many 'Windows' and Tabs!!!

Every time i go onto a site like YouTube, Chess.com, ChatGPT etc, it asks for my login each time and i know there is a setting for it to remember me so i do not have to log into my account every time i use the site but I have looked everywhere and still fail to see it. Where about can i turn this setting on so i do not have to sign into my profile to use the relevant site. Thank you.

The 'add "outlook.live.com" as an application for mailto links' keeps popping up continuously after I click to X to delete the banner message. How do I disable it? Firefox should have a "don't remind me again" option. I do not want to add mailto links or make any changes. Thank You!

Basically, I copied this from an old post that I didn't understand the solution when I move my mouse to the top of the screen in fullscreen, the adressbar and tabs come up, I hate that how do I fix it

Amazon search has disappeared from browser and not included in list of search engines. I want amazon.uk not U.S. and I do not know where about:config is.

I know that it is possible, cause, in the past, I had extension doing exactly that. When I click on an active tab, Firefox just minimized it and went back to the last one I was looking at. But it was for the old version of Firefox. It wasn't compatibile with the new ver of the brawser. Can anyone can help me find some extension doing that please?

I'm running a UI deployment with a web-app and Firefox on an Ubuntu system.

I'm running Firefox with the flag "--kiosk" to place it into kiosk mode (booted from the command line upon system boot). This works fine, and boots up Firefox to the page I want (my web-app) in kiosk mode (full-screen, etc.)

However, I get very annoying popups that are not acceptable for deployments in front of customers. I have tried, but CANNOT suppress all of them, or, when I thought I did, they came back a month later.

Popups:

1. "Keep pesky trackers off your tail. Open my links with Firefox" 2. "Welcome back" 3. Others like this...

These are Firefox browser popups, not related to popups that other websites can put up, and block the entire screen with an overlay until they are dismissed. My deployments are only going to a single web-page that I control (which has no popups) and there is no keyboard on the deployed system, so people cannot navigate elsewhere.

Things I've tried:

1. Firefox is installed via snap, which provides "snapshotting" configuration for the Firefox snap. I loaded Firefox, cleared the annoying dialogs, and then took a snapshot (theorying that I set Firefox configuration when doing this, and I capture that in the snapshot) and re-installed it onto a new system. Still go popups 2. Looked into user.js preferences. I can install this file onto the system, so I looked through https://searchfox.org/mozilla-release/source/remote/shared/RecommendedPreferences.sys.mjs and this is how I initially got all the popups to disable themselves. I looked through that list and tested most of the recommended settings until the popups disappeared. However, after a month or so, I'm beginning to see the popups again.

Any suggestions from Mozilla or others that run into this issue?

I need to be able to use Command-I (for italics) or Command-B (for bold) when using Firefox to write emails and enter information on other websites WITHOUT Firefox opening Page Information or Bookmarks.

This is basic browser functionality! People use browsers to write emails and other online documents, and the hotkey combo for things like Bold and Italics on Macs are Cmd-B and Cmd-I. All such websites I use recognize that as a standard, but Firefox insists on using those same commands for browser features I almost never use and certainly don't need hotkeys for.

All the information I'm finding online on how to fix this is deeply unhelpful and far more complicated than I can handle. Can you please tell me if there is a simple way to stop Firefox from pulling up Page Information and Bookmarks as a result of keyboard commands, or at least for me to change what those commands are so that they don't conflict with industry standard commands for text formatting on the vast majority of websites?
