I added bearshare.com and cannot get rid of it, please help, it is my "home" page.

I added bearshare.com and discovered it "became" my home page. I have Firefox and wish to have Google as my home page and search engine. The bearshare.com has been taken out of my program files, etc...It is still at the top of my computer. I am intermediate literate with computers and cannot seem to get rid of the bear search engine. As I turn on my internet the search engine bearshare appears as well as the bear icon and search in my toolbar area. Google is next to the address on the right for another search engine but I would like to eliminate bear share altogether please.

Honestly, IF ANYONE has this issue with Bearshare, it is quite annoying to have it in your files and puter...THIS answer above eliminated it! I am so happy and thankful for this and recommend ANYONE to do this straight away, it will work! Thanks so much to the Firefox team for answering this right away and I am one happy person...BEAR SHARE FREE  :)
