How do I make Firefox just save .mkv's without asking me?

I occasionally download .mkv files, and Firefox asks me every time what to do with them, even though in Preferences... > Applications I've got "mkv File"'s action as "Save File". Other things, for example dmg, which are set to Save File just save without asking, but not mkv.

I also have the same question for wav, although wav doesn't show up in Preferences... > Applications at all, even though I've downloaded them a number of times.
