sync does not work - folders but no boomarks

I have done a clean sync with three computers. The other two are working fine. The one computer does not work.

So far: Resigned in and out of sync I have done a clean install of a new firefox. Also done a new profile.

But it keeps syncing only folders and no bookmarks.

Not sure what to do?

Oh..it is a windows 8 computer...using the non-app firefox. I have also done a refresh.
