Hi, I have two accounts in my Thunderbird. They are Gmail (regular gmail account) and CFCC (an institutional account). The CFCC shows up in my Unified Folder list but the Gmail does not. Is that normal? The main Inbox is showing all incoming emails from both accounts so no performance issues, just wondering how to get rid of the CFCC (if that's possible) to eliminate clutter. When selecting which email account to send FROM, the drop down shows a number of old email accounts. These accounts have been deleted. There are no details showing under the "account settings" or "Outgoing server." Which file stores the mail server information and where is it? I currently have around forty different email accounts across five mail servers.

Every five minutes Mozilla sends me a page asking for access to my Google account. I click "deny" and it goes away for a few minutes, but comes right back. And while it is on, I can neither send nor receive email. Is there some way to get it to go away and stay away? Thanks, Larry Wright

On my connected devices I had a device I didn't recognise and deleted it. I needed to capture details of the rogue device and unfortunately didn't record the details, in the shock of finding a device connected to my account. Is there anyway to see the history of what devices have been connected or where connected. It for an ongoing investigation of unauthorised access to my laptop.

I have several Yahoo email accounts. I collect all email from them using pop. A few days ago on one of those accounts, when it's polled, the message "downloading 1 of x appears. However, nothing is downloaded and eventually the server timeout message appears.

I tried the repair inbox function, it didn't work. So I deleted the account and tried to add it again. I get the error message "Component returned failure code: 0x80004005 (NS_ERROR_FAILURE) [nsIMsgAccountManager.createIncomingServer]"

However, if I select manual config and test the server it tests ok, then produces the above error after continue.

None of my other accounts are affected.

Any ideas gratefully accepted

1) When launched, Thunderbird 140.13 has a pop-up window asking for a Host Gator login. HG has not been used or on this system over 8 years. "cloud80.hostgator.com is requesting your username and password." What would cause this window to appear and How to delete it completely?

2) Also, after the Thunderbird 140.13 installed and re-launched, an email was sent requesting to verify location and login sent from: "accounts at firefox.com". Is this a common request from Mozilla firefox / thunderbird?

По рекомендации, я создал еще один эккаунт, моей жены getochka.mazur@gmail,com, регистрация прошла успешно, к нему я попытался подключить дополнительный эккаунт mazur.farmamed@gmail.com, но ничего не получилось, так как к моему эккаунту привязана возможность вторичной авторизации и изменить пароль и ввести 6-значный код я не могу. Поэтому самым простым способом, я прошу удалить мой эккаунт mazur.farmamed@gmail.com. Я его заново создам и определю вторичную авторизацию к моему телефону +79184844844. Электронная почта у меня работает постоянно и мне хотелось бы продолжать пользоваться эккаунтом firefox с именем моей почты mazur.farmamed@gmail.com , а не моей жены getochka.mazur@gmail.com. After the last update of Thunderbird, we lost the ability to send gmail messages from our pop gmail account. We only got incoming messages when we restarted thunderbird. We've worked for 6 hours with Claude Opus and it finally gave up. Out AOL account and our comcast accounts still work. We tried to create a new imap account in gmail and that spins forever. Account does not get created. the last error message was " Error Creating Account - Incoming server already exists."

Then we tried deleting the pop account and then creating a imap account and that also spun forever failing to create an account. Webmail works.

I have not being able to add this 4 account to thunderbird: hotmail.co.uk/ live.co.uk/btinternet.com/gmail.com. I keep getting error either cannot connect to server or username and password wrong. I have managed to add two accounts successfully. I don't quiet understand what is happening with this new 153.0.1 version. I has it working before I had to reinstall windows 11 PRO.
