I have 4 e-mail addresses and corresponding inboxes. One is my personal addy that I use for most legitimate business. The other 3 are leftovers from former businesses and a spam addy. I use those other 3 addys sparingly, but only for sites I want to maintain distance from, and any I suspect might be spammers.

Thunderbird has worked wonderfully for me for some years, but recently, I have been getting duplicate messages in 2 of my 3 dummy accounts for every one that is legitimately sent to my main account. None ever show up in that 4th account, but I did just receive an e-mail that was intended for that 4th account, and the inbox acted as it should (no duplicates anywhere).

I have spent a couple of hours with a very dedicated service rep from my ISP, and she was unable to find any solution. She suggests that reaching out to Firefox is the next logical step.

Effettuata la procedura i messaggi in entrata hanno iniziato a funzionare regolarmente ma mi sono accorto che tutte le mail nella cartella posta in arrivo erano prive di testo. My Thunderbird email on my PC will only open intermittently in the last few days. Re-starting my computer sometimes helps, but only temporarily. There are no error messages- just nothing happens. I am still able to access email on other devices - just not on PC - which I use a lot. I'd be grateful for ideas of how to fix this. Thank you, Pam Rycroft

why do you change my message selection when I delete an unrelated message??? Sometimes you delete a message that I haven't opened yet (and don't necessarily wish to open at this time)!!!

After last update, Missing "TRASH" folder and only have Junk Folder that everything is put in and marked as "Junk". Then those messages are all marked as "junk" automatically that may not be Junk. Tried to create subfolder named "Trash" and will not allow. Windows 10, 64 bit Dell laptop I-5 Inspiron 5759.

I keep getting this message whenever I try to get my emails. "Login to server ... with username ... failed"

I have no idea what to do to get the emails coming in. This has happened before, but eventually seemed to fix itself before I had to do something. There is nothing on this "Help" thing that seems to apply or if it does, I have no idea what the answer signifies.

I think I've done another password, but nothing came up or said anything regarding this so I don't know if it worked.

If you are kind enough to give this message any thought, please put your answer in words of two syllables or less & please don't talk about POS or Pop or whatever. I have no idea what that is. I just want to get this thing working again.

How can I turn off the threading of my emails? Its driving me crazy as when an email comes in after a short time it disappears into the threads and then I have to open each thread to find out who sent the email. At one stage there were 6 emails noted near the inbox but no new unthreaded message, all went to respective threads. Very time wasting.

Running Thunderbird, with auto login to my ATT.NET account. I recently changed my ATT.NET PW (on ATT.NET) Thunderbird is still able to log on to my ATT.NET account and rec/send emails. I went into PW manager and removed the saved PW for my ATT email account.

My Get Messages is grayed out, how do I fix? Not downloading messages I searched the answers for this and tried what was suggested and now the Mail Toolbar is completely gone, the suggestion was to Restore Default setting and I did and now my Toolbar is completely gone

We have been trying to repair the sent folder in Thunderbird without success. Messages do not get saved there. Several recently have ended threads an said there is no support for email but that seems to be confused? In any case it loos like there is no simple fix to get the sent folder back. Do you think it would solve the issue to uninstall Thunderbird and install it again? Thank you for the help.

Could you please tell me how often the Thunderbird autoconfiguration protocol can be accessed - https://autoconfig.thunderbird.net/v1.1/ ? Are there any limits on the number of requests per minute from one IP? If so, what are they and where is it specified?

I have added a new Category for an event in the Calendar.This shows in the list of Categories for that specific event, but is not stored for use in another event. So is there a way of adding Categories that can be used later? Thanks, Alan
