I have added a new Category for an event in the Calendar.This shows in the list of Categories for that specific event, but is not stored for use in another event. So is there a way of adding Categories that can be used later? Thanks, Alan

Could you please tell me how often the Thunderbird autoconfiguration protocol can be accessed - https://autoconfig.thunderbird.net/v1.1/ ? Are there any limits on the number of requests per minute from one IP? If so, what are they and where is it specified?

I have cox comm. for internet and emails, they just changed their server to yahoo.com. Now I cannot sign into thunderbird to send or receive emails.

Thunderbird via Roadrunner email acct is not delivering emails for up to 8 hours to certain Verizon accounts. What is up with this? It is very difficult to monitor a very sick brother in another state when emails are not being delivered in a timely manner. Have spoken with Spectrum/Roadrunner and sent message directly from Spectrum's web email app per their troubleshooting hotline. No joy on the email deliver either via Spectrum or Thunderbird.

for years I have used Thunderbird, and during that time have replaced serveral old pc/laptops. My new laptop when trying to open Thunderbird asks for a password. I have no record of that anywhere!! So how do i create a new password or gain acess to use Thunderbird. Im using Windows 11

After recent update, TB seems to have created an extra account. My account has name <myemajl> and ends in ".com". New acct has same name but ens in .com_2. That's why I think TB created it. Which do I delete and how

I have been using your product thunderbird for my email purposes. Recently I upgraded my HDD capacity to 4TB and copied all my files across, which worked OK.

My thunderbird email platform now has two inboxes and the incoming mail appears in both inboxes, which is becoming inconvienent.

Q: How do I delete one of those inboxes with out risking a major loss of folders?

Dear Sir, I don't know why whenever I log in the Thunderbird email (IMAP), the problem is that the Thunderbird email account always download the email to my Inbox very slow? How to solve this problem ?

I have several emails set up on my desktop Thunderbird app (Yahoo, Gmail, Fastmail). For some reason all emails that I receive in Yahoo are also showing up in the Fastmail account. I do not have this set up at Yahoo (I have the standard account that does not allow automatic forwarding) so I believe it is happening in Thunderbird. How do I turn this off? Thanks.

Bonjour. Sur un compte IMAP sur la poste net, j'ai deux dossiers trash et corbeille, lequel est utile. J'ai également 2 PC qui travaillent avec les mêmes comptes IMAP sur un PC et POP sur l'autre et aléatoirement des messages reçus sur un compte d'un PC (IMAP ou POP) , après suppression, font disparaitre le message correspondant sur l'autre PC.

Since Thunderbird 115.6.1 was installed files disappear when I move them to an Archive or Draft folder. How can I fix this and how can I recover those files from the server?
