The height of the viewing panel for emails is far too small. I can only see a couple of lines of text at the most and am unable to reduce the height of the incoming list of emails as previously in order to increase the height of the viewing panel. I have been helped to increase the font size of the overall layout so that I can now read it better but the green button to declare that my problem has been solved tells me that the page isn't working!

Buonasera, stamattina non funzionando le mail in arrivo in Thundebird, ho riparato la cartella a seguito di un messaggio arrivato dal vostro portale dove mi diceva: spazio archiviazione terminato. Effettuata la procedura i messaggi in entrata hanno iniziato a funzionare regolarmente ma mi sono accorto che tutte le mail nella cartella posta in arrivo erano prive di testo. Cosa può esser successo e se è possibile ripristinare, grazie mille per un vostra risposta. Vi lascio in allegato un'immagine come campione. Cordiali saluti, Gianfranco

Since upgrading to v102 I've lost events in my calendar and am progressively losing historic data that I wanted to keep (events that were there last week aren't there this week). I've tried copying a backup of local.sqlite and checked the entries in prefs.js to no avail. If I can't fix then I'm going to have to dump Firefox and Thunderbird.

View/Folders menu will not allow any selection but Recent

When TB starts up, the only folders I can see are Recent. I can go to View/Folders and click ALL, and as soon as I move the mouse away from that menu item, it switches back to Recent. This started on version 115.09, but persists after I've "upgraded" to 115.10.1.

It has now (5/3/24 17:25 CDT) been 2-1/2 days since I submitted this problem, and no one has responded that it has even been noticed, much less solved. One of my two email accounts is a POP3, and the other is IMAP. The IMAP account Inbox doesn't even show up on the TB home screen. (If that info is of any help).

PLEASE ADVISE. My emails are an integral part of my business, and I cannot get to almost any them.

I'm sorry if this topic has already been answered.....and I know it has.....but I have been reading and trying things for almost 3 hours.....I need help!!! I have at work the Thunderbird eMail that goes through a different server. I followed the directions and copied the "Moving Thunderbird Data to a New Computer" to a flash drive. I used that and have all the files that were on it, now on my at home computer. It appears that everything is good up to that point. I even get the window that shows that Thunderbird recognized my other server's setup, however when I choose "OK" it gives me an error message that it is already on the server. I can see the Thunderbird email system on my home computer. But I can't get it to show any of the emails that I know are there from my work computer and I can't get it to download. I'm not sure if I have been clear enough, but I hope either someone can help me with what I have provided--or provide me with directions on how to do the install--EASY directions--because I'm unable to follow what I have found so far. And a reminder--I do still have all the files that I copied to the flash drive--so I could start all over again, and it would not be a problem. THANKS SO MUCH IN ADVANCE!!!

I posted a couple days ago, but what I posted was confusing and convoluted, so I am trying to be more concise this time. I need to have the Thunderbird (TB) eMail on both my work and home computer. It is already on my work computer and I have copied the TB eMail to a USB according to what I found on here, and have checked and all the files appear on the USB. I have tried to get the TB eMail on my home computer now, with that USB, but can not, no matter what I try. I have downloaded the TB eMail from the Mozilla site to my home computer several times; deleted it to try again; and have cleared everything out every time I do. However EVERY time now, I am getting an error message that the Profile Setting Can Not Be Found.....specifically it says " Your Thunderbird profile cannot be loaded. It may be missing or inaccessible." in a pop up window. I don't know how to get rid of this so that it does not pop up every time - because again, it pops every time even after I delete the TB completely. If someone could guide me on how to get the TB on my home computer without that popping up, and how to proceed from there, because I do have all those files on the USB, it would be GREATLY appreciated!!! Thank you in advance for any help!!!!!

This is the error message I get for the last two weeks. Matt at Mozilla did not solve problem. Have rebooted system, unplugged everything several times still unable to send email.

Help.

I shut down my PC for 3 days early July, -rebooted on july 5 , new version of Thunderbird was installed since then I cannot complete the new configuration - agrees the account is good, but fails to complete. I have replaced the new version w/ newest version on july 12 , same result - cannot complete setup , fails w/ error message "Unable to login at server- probably configuration , user name or password "

on July 7 the new update for TB 112.30 wrote over my version and became a new install, I asked about solution and someone recommended reload TB..no help , I have been hoping for a new update to correct what ever clobbered my folders on 7/7.and blocked my access to email server - ATT now at ver 115, still no folders. realized today 8/2 I needed a secure Key for ATT email - got that and at least was able to connect and download email . any idea how I can restore the version before july 7 ?

Its bad enough the latest version hides my return email and I have to search for it. Now I just had to resign up for all my emails! If its not bad enough to have all my email passwords lost, how about when you try to valid it with a return address? TBird is locked up waiting for the email vendor to finish restoring my account and will not retrieve my access codes from another. I had to log on to every different site to get my codes! I am officially looking for a new client to handle my email. I had you for many years, but you blew it! I notice you are offering new service, but I don't need fancy calendars, I simply need a client that will reliably send and receive my email. Besides, if you are spending your time on new features, I assume you are not fixing the important issues, like this, that you caused, by trying to add on more features, like dumping my return email where I can't find it.

Hello, I am seeking to get the latest version of Mozilla Thunderbird approved on my employer's enterprise. There is currently a big push to support American products so my job requires confirmation of Country of Origin, ie an official document or letter, from the software company to provide proof that any software requested is sourced from either the United States or friendly partners (https://gsa.federalschedules.com/resources/taa-designated-countries/)

If someone from Mozilla could provide an official letter to me confirming that Mozilla products are primarily developed and/or transformed in the US or its partners that would greatly appreciated as no new software will be approved without this.
