Dear Sir, I don't know why whenever I log in the Thunderbird email (IMAP), the problem is that the Thunderbird email account always download the email to my Inbox very slow? How to solve this problem ?

I have several emails set up on my desktop Thunderbird app (Yahoo, Gmail, Fastmail). For some reason all emails that I receive in Yahoo are also showing up in the Fastmail account. I do not have this set up at Yahoo (I have the standard account that does not allow automatic forwarding) so I believe it is happening in Thunderbird. How do I turn this off? Thanks.

Bonjour. Sur un compte IMAP sur la poste net, j'ai deux dossiers trash et corbeille, lequel est utile. J'ai également 2 PC qui travaillent avec les mêmes comptes IMAP sur un PC et POP sur l'autre et aléatoirement des messages reçus sur un compte d'un PC (IMAP ou POP) , après suppression, font disparaitre le message correspondant sur l'autre PC.

Trying to add an Gmail account on Thunderbird. My email address and password are correct. What to do? Using Surface Pro 8, Windows 11. I can access Gmail account directly but something happens when I try to add it to Thunderbird. My other email accounts, outlook.com & comcast.net installed without problem.

I used to have Address book on my menu bar and could right click on a mailing list and send a BCC email to all. In 102.3, the address book is now in a tab to the left of the window, and I cannot click to open an email to all. I cannot select, and copy all addresses in the list and copy to a new mail BCC field.. How can I now send an email to all in a mailing list? It used to be so simple! John

What are the correct settings for email accounts in Thunderbird? On my new computer my accounts were setup in imap with SSL - but then changed to TLS, but I continually get this message " Non-overridable TLS error occurred. Handshake error or probably the TLS version or certificate used by server imap.actrix.co.nz is incompatible." I have a Dell Vostro 5620 laptop with Windows 11Pro. When message come to me some of them get sent to the Spam folder. I have some message filters that I run and it sets the Junk mark to Not Junk and moves them to the Inbox. I see them moving to the Inbox for a few seconds and them they pop back up in the Spam folder. How can I resolve this issue?

I used to backup firefox & thunderbird profile using MozBackup and it saved it as a pcv. When my computer crashed I need to get another motherboard & hard drive and now I seem not to be able to restore my profile using Mozbackup. It says everything was ok but has not restored profile in thunderbird. Can anyone help as there are important emails I need to reply to and with out my old profile I cannot reply.
