As of February 7, 2024 I have not been able to receive emails from any sender. I have been able to send. I get this message....Unable to write the email to the mailbox, Make sure the file system allows you to write privileges, and have enough disk space to copy the mailbox. Had the computer checked out and was told computer and Thunderbird was fine and to contact Centurylink (now Brightspeed) Centurylink helped me get into my mailbox where I could see the messages that Thunderbird could/would not show. When asked what to do next, Centurylink said to contact Thunderbird. At this point I am not sure what or who to contact.

If the community is "here to help" then why make it so difficult to ask for help?

At this point, I've been fighting this website for, oh, about 10 minutes. And I still am not at the point where I can ask a simple question on the message board.

I mean, really, why does Mozilla seem to want to distance itself for the users who have donate to it?

I'm on a Windows 10 PC and Thunderbird opens without any usable GUI (see screenshot). I've tried uninstalling it and reinstalling v115, I've also tried uninstalling it and reinstalling v78 just to see if an older version does the same thing, and it looks the same. I've also tried opening TB in safe mode but it still does the same thing.

Any suggestions would be gratefully received.

The opening page seems to have suddenly changed, smaller print, different layout, in particular also the folders now don't appear all down the left side, they cut off halfway up & the message shows right across instead of all the way down. Can I reset it to the original view?

Thunderbird. Cannot send e-mails from my laptop. Receive pop up that mail server responded send rejected. Contact Spectrum...person had me remove account and then try to set up new account. Get message unable to log in at server. Probably wrong configuration, user name or password. Note all information is correct. Spectrum unable to help further indicating it's Thunderbird issue. Please help!

I read my Gmail through Thunderbird because of your superior interface. About 4 days ago, I started getting a request to enter my Gmail credentials, but when I try to do so, I get a message from Gmail as follows: "The server cannot process the request because it is malformed. It should not be retried. That's all we know." I tried turning off my VPN, but it is still not working. Help?

I need a solution to setting-up a group email which will be needed frequently. I followed the instructions on the Mozilla help page but it has content which doesn't mesh with Thunderbird (latest version) such as there being no "mail groups" when going file > new > ???? I have done this successfully on Outlook and Safari, but no luck on Thunderbird.

Do you know where I go to Download the PSM?

I was going to donate via PayPal when your site would not let the donation continue until my street address was filled out. Why do you need my street address to accept a donation? You may think it's a small thing but personal information is collateral and I do not see it as being necessary for a simple donation.

I can't use my computer to delete spam or email, because the latest versions for months are toooo slow to do so. And I can't stand the automatic threading/grouping of emails, and how hard it is to figure out how to stop it. I dont want any threads or grouping.

Hello everyone, In thunderbird table view you are able to rearange settings for date, star, from, subject in the order you want. Does anybody know how to get this options in cards view. I'd like to move date from right to left, and I can't find out how to do it? Thx.

Hi, This is shared computer, so I have set up a primary password to access Thunderbird. But If I click "Anuluj" (Polish word for Cancel) - look picture TB1.png, the program still opens, asking me for a password again, but now in English (look picture TB2.png). After denying password twice, the email list shows up in the backgruond while asking for password again. If I deny the password for the third time (look picture TB3.png) I can freely browse all emails there. Any ideas on how to fix this?
