OS is Win 10 64bit TB is 78.4.0 (32 bit) (is that a conflict?)

For NO known reason TB had to be restarted. Opened, BUT only one folder, NOT the Inbox, is displayed. Cannot see NOR access the Inbox, nor any folder (none displayed). Restarting TB produces the same result every time.

If searched any - all TB headers / options. HELP & support yield no clue(s) nor solution(s).

Thunderbird auto updated to 115.10.1 and now it is behaving strangely.

1. The Message Filter has "Junk" at the bottom of the list of filters and anything that is not sent to a folder gets sent to the Junk folder. Instead all the junk is going to the Inbox.

2. Folders that have new email show up in blue highlighted folder as they should. But if I select those emails and read them, they remain highlighted but without the blue color.

3. Sometimes when I delete an email after reading, it deletes for a moment and then returns to the folder as unread. Multiple attempts to delete fail.

Has anyone seen a message similar to this when trying to attach a document, usually a pdf to an email?

O:\XXXXXXXXXX.pdf could not be opened, because the associated helper application does not exist. Change the association in your preferences.

Also, when someone send me an image file, I can't open it directly from the email. I have to download it and then open it. This isn't as big of an issue as the above, but I thought I'd ask it too.

Already invested time creating some html code for email signature on thunderbird. Wanted to create something prepared for dark modes on IOS. Everything was fine until I detected on IOS (dark mode)some white rectangles outside my email signature code. It´s a problem that I cannot solve because it´s outside my code, and I´m wondering if you are already aware of this issue.

An IMAP mail system is configured on a server running Debian 12. While there are never any problems via webmail, reception and sending work occasionally via Thunderbird 115.9. Even in "Troubleshooting Mode" it doesn't work. The server has good hardware characteristics and there are no applications that can slow it down, nor do I think it is a firewall problem or incorrect parameters otherwise it would never work. The error is related to timeout reaching the server. What can I check to find out where the problem is?

Hello, For some reason, over the past couple of months I have been searching for varied emails and they are missing! At one point, I found that some had been put in an archive folder (that I did NOT set up) and they were recent emails. I removed them from the folder, placed them back in the regular inbox and deleted that folder. When I could not find another very important series of emails today, after searching numerous ways, I looked in the server and missing emails are there. I did look at a number of email threads where other people reported similar problems... but couldn't figure out what applied to my situation and how to fix this. To show a specific example, I attached two images ... the first is my Thunderbird email account that shows one Email only on Feb 18, 2024. The Juno server image shows 7 emails on that same date, four which were important contracts that were sent to me. Can you please help me locate and retrieve these and other missing emails? My Thunderbird email on my PC will only open intermittently in the last few days. Re-starting my computer sometimes helps, but only temporarily. There are no error messages- just nothing happens. I am still able to access email on other devices - just not on PC - which I use a lot. I'd be grateful for ideas of how to fix this. Thank you, Pam Rycroft

Will there ever be an option in the calendar to schedule links to video conferencing platforms like zoom or teams or google meet?

Lot's of other 'smart' calendars have this as an option. For example, when I use google calendar on a browser there is a zoom plugin so when I schedule an appointment it automatically generates a meeting invite for the attendees and put the meeting on my zoom app.

I know that this is probably reliant more on the companies [Google, Microsoft, Zoom] to make an extension for this, but it would be great if this could be implemented in the future.

I have used local Thunderbird folders for my Gmail accounts for a long time, and have now started using Protonmail (via Proton Bridge to Thunderbird) as well. Sending and receiving Protonmail via TB works fine.

I want to keep my single local inbox, sent folders etc. I set up a filter on the TB Protonmail account to copy all incoming emails to the local inbox. Works fine. I have also configured TB's Protonmail account to copy any emails created in TB's Protonmail account to the local 'sent' folder. All good.

I now want to get any emails sent via the Protonmail app to be copied to my local 'TB sent' folder - but have failed to get this to work.

If I create a TB filter to run on the Protonmail IMAP 'sent' folder, it CHANGES the separate TB inbox filter from running on the IMAP inbox, to run on the IMAP 'sent' folder!!!

I want to have two separate filters for Protonmail IMAP - one for 'inbox' and one for 'sent' - but they keep resetting so that both run either on the IMAP inbox or 'sent'. I thought filters were separate entities, but clearly not.

Am I missing something, or have I stumbled across a bug?

I need the option to convert message date to local time on forwarding, instead of UTC + - from the original header.

This is the expected behavior in every other client I have used.

Even if the original sender is in the same city as me, chances are their originating server could be somewhere else and their originating time preference may not be set correctly. So it's more useful and logical to end user to show that in my local time zone.

Please, at least make it a user preference option.

I prefer to see only new messages in my Inbox. To that end, I've chosen the icon that says "Show only unread messages;" but it will not stay chosen. Every time I leave TB and come back I have to chose the icon again or see all the messages I've seen and reacted to before.

Is there a way to make the choice to see only unread messages and have it stay in use?
