Witam, w ostatnim czasie mieliśmy jakiś spam na naszą pocztę i dostaliśmy blokadę, zależy nam na zdjęciu jej ponieważ jest to e-mail firmowy i jest nam potrzebny. Proszę o informację co mamy zrobić aby zdjęto blokadę. Pozdrawiam

I added a second IMAP profile on thunderbird and i keep getting the message 93% memory used. I understand he maximum capacity should be 4 GB, but when i checked, the first profile had 3.5 GB full, and the second only 1 GB. Is it because i added the second one and thunderbird split the memory capacity? I removed the first acount and stil the second one has only 1 GB memory. i need the emails received and cannot delete anymore messages, I am afraid it reaches full memory capacity and will not be able to receive emails. Please advise

Is it possible to install TB (or at least the profiles) onto an external SSD (i.e., not the C: drive)? If so, how?

Note: this is not about migration/backup/recovery of profiles.

Windows 11 is consuming nearly all of the C: drive. I badly need to get TB (and Firerfox) onto my E: drive. I further note that the installer gives no options whatsoever as to the destination drive.

I've read everything I could find here and all of that is about using an external drive as a backup. Most of the other help I've found on the web is clearly outdated.

Tired of Apple mail, want to install Thunderbird 78.14.0 on my mac mini. Am running Yosemite 10.10.5.

I can see access to the files on this site but need an installer to load to system.

Am familiar with unix can work off a console but am not a programmer, wouldn't know one end of a compiler from the other.

Can you point me in the right direction?

I have been running Thunderbird Beta for a while and recently when I go in I get an error that it cannot compress folder because not enough disk space. I have > 90gb available. How do I resolve this?

If I right-click on any photo or item in the explorer and choose "share", the mailadresses that show up as options in the "share window" is not associated with Thunderbird, but with Outlook. I have tried every solution I have found on the net, incl. making sure TB was chosen as the mail client for any file type, removing any leftovers from outlook and from registration data base, but still only adresses connected with Outlook shows up (and I can see that it is from an old mailing list, that does not include more recent contacts). So why does the share windows not have assess to Thunderbird and its mail adresses?

Yesterday I was hit with what I understand is a mail or spam bomb in my work email. From 5am to 10am i received 1,400 emails from all random sites. Today i already received 200 emails. This is very stressful searching through these to find actual legit emails from my customers. Speaking to one of my employees this happened to they said they had to close their account and open a new one because the emails never stopped coming. I have had this email for 17 years and it's associated with many business accounts and website contacts so it's not feasible for me to change emails. Is there a way to filter these directly to the junk or spam folder so they don't hit my inbox? Or something else you can recommend to block these? please help

Hello everyone. I have just installed version 115.11.1 (64 bits) on my PC. The fonts of the incoming mail messages display strangely and change when I move the mouse over them. The rest of the programs and windows display normally. The problem only exists in Thunderbird windows. Does anyone have any idea what the problem is? Could a graphics card at the end of its life be at the root of the problem? Thanks.

I'd like to use microsoft exchanges in to the thunderbird desktop app. Is that possible? I've tried to set it up but it doesn't seem to be working. I'm able to receive emails but when I try to send it asks for a password and it says it's not correct....

Witam, Mam problem z wysyłaniem wiadomości przez Thunderbird. Przy próbie wysłania wyskakuje takowy komunikat. Nie rozumiem z jakiego powodu mogłem dostać blokadę, ponieważ nie wysyłam aż tylu wiadomości, żeby można je było uznać za spam. Co mogę zrobić w takiej sytuacji, aby jak najszybciej odblokować swoje konto? Proszę o jak najszybszą pomoc, możliwość wysyłania wiadomości jest mi bardzo potrzebna. Pozdrawiam.

I have been a Firefox and Thunderbird Beta user for decades and all is well until I installed the latest Thunderbird 127 (Beta) It's suppose to be a Final release. Now I get a large ad/notice, informing me to use this version at my own risk and to download the older, stable release.

See attached image. The add takes up a large amount of space on the email client and is very annoying.

How do I get rid of it, never to see it, again?

I do not have an account that I wish to migrate within Thunderbird but I just need to use it to view some .msg files. Each time I try to open a .msg file to view it, I am asked to log in to Thunderbird. Is there any way of just viewing the messages without requiring an associated email account? The messages relate to an investigation I am conducting and I do not own the recipient's account.

My email inbox is really a task list. I find that I email myself items that I need to work on so that they are in the inbox. It's a tiny thing, but it would be so much more convenient to be able to view/edit the task list alongside the email inbox. I organize my emails with the listing of emails full-height on the screen with the preview window to the right of that. I would like to be able to see the Task List to the right of the preview pane. At this point, it appears that only the Today pane can be shown there. This requested feature is supported in Outlook, but the Outlook "task list" is not as nice as Thunderbird's because their "tasks" are just emails that have been flagged - not very useful. Thanks for your consideration.

It has been one year, and you still have not fixed the multiselect functionality that was ruined with your Supernova "update" (which is worse in almost all aspects btw). Can you at least tell us WHEN you plan to release the fix since you locked the comments to block the countless negative ones? Is it so hard for your UX team to understand that removing multiselect functionality is like removing Ctrl+C, and Ctrl+V and set the correct priority???

I have been trying to send a couple of emails today and I keep getting a server error message. I am not good at all with computers . I am a 78 year old partially disabled vet with no computer knowledge. My son set this up for me years ago but he has since moved away. I sent one email this morning that went out but now nothing works. I think I can receive emails but not sure now.

I'm a long-term Outlook user looking to move from Outlook 2013 (now unsupported by MS) to Thunderbird. I've looked at all Mozilla documentation, as well as Google Search and can't seem to find a full understanding of the migration process. I have tried to manually do so using the Tools>Import in Thunderbird, but I continually get an error message that "the current mail client cannot fulfill the messaging request". (Yes, Outlook is my default mail client).

Also, I'm now seeing the following on my Thunderbird home page: Secure connection failed live.mozillamessaging.com uses an invalid security certificate. The certificate is not trusted because the issuer certificate is unknown.

Can anyone help an Outlook refugee? Thanks in advance.

I use a MacBook Air (software version 13.6.1 (22G313)) and Thunderbird as my mail client (software version 115.11.1 (64-bit)).

I have set up approx. 8 mail accounts, but for a few weeks now I have had the problem with my google mail accounts that mail with somewhat larger attachments (approx. 5MB) is often (not always) sent, but no copy is saved in the Sent folder.

I get the following error message from Thunderbird:

The message was sent, but no copy was saved in the Sent folder because there were problems accessing the network or files (translated from German, original English error message may differ slightly)

Security and authentication settings of the affected IMAP and SMTP accounts:

SSL/TLS OAuth2

Changing these settings was not successful, sending mail was no longer possible with other security settings.

A request to google support did not help, I was referred to Thunderbird support.

Perhaps someone has an idea for me as to what the problem could be?
