Using Facebook creates an "Isolated Web Content" which makes the page run slow then crash.
This has been happening for years, now and means I increasingly just don't use Firefox, switching to Chrome, instead.
This affects Facebook on my Mac (Sequoia) and PC (Windows 11) machines.

Firefox worked this morning, but stopped in the afternoon. I ran an update, but could not connect to my gmail account anymore, or listen to the Radio France podcasts All this works from Google Chrome (not my default browser). All under the Mozilla VPN 2001:4860:7:150e::fc (why the IPv6 address?)

Previously I could login to www.lowes.com with no problems. For the last several weeks I have not been able to login on Firefox, but I am able to login on Chrome. I have deleted the cookies and history tied to lowes.

This is from Cabelas.com but I am getting it more and more from other web sites. American Airlines, Delta.com, etc. I accessed the help and did all the steps about fingerprinting and turning off "enhanced tracking protection" and nothing helps. Any ideas? Don't like the idea of using Chrome or Edge, but Firefox is almost unusable for me now. If I have to keep using another browser for the sites, may as well just use that one only.

I cannot log into Facebook with my Firefox browser. Even though the username and password are entered correctly, the login freezes and I cannot proceed. I am able to access the site on other devices. On my laptop, I deleted all cookies, history, and cache as recommended. I am able to log in to Instagram on this device. Coincidental to this problem: when I try to view video on newyorktimes.com, the browser freezes. I cannot view content in other open tabs and must reboot the browser.

When I try to make a Google search I get the following message, "I'm not a robot" with a reCAPTCHA: "Our systems have detected unusual traffic from your computer network. This page checks to see if it's really you sending the requests, and not a robot. Why did this happen?". This happens on Firefox, but not Chrome or Edge. If I 'Allow' Google in the 'Exceptions - Cookies and Site Data' then I do not get the message, but it takes several seconds for Google display the resulting page. However, if I delete the cookies/cache the message will return and I have to redo the reCAPTCHA. I have scanned with Malwarebytes, Bitdefender, Hitman Pro, Trend Micro House Call and Microsoft Defender, nothing detected. Running Win 10 (64) with 'Extended Security Updates', Firefox 147.0 (64), no additional Extensions or Plugins. Also I uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox.

I can't always sign into my bank with Firefox but can with Safari. Sometime it works and other times it doesn't and I get an error message. If I switch to Safari, I never have a problem signing in. Can you tell me what's going on and how to fix it?
Also, I can't do health video calls with Firefox. I can see the person but they can't hear me. I've tried everything I know to do the get it working to no avail. However, if I do a Zoom teleconference, I generally don't have any problems. The problems come when my doctor's facility sets up the video call. I don't know what system they use, but it's odd that it only works partially (video and no sound). I can do the video calls on my cell phone with no problems. It's only with my desktop, which I prefer to use because the screen is much easier to view. Any ideas on how to fix this problem?

When I try and sign on I get a msg saying site unavailable, but when I go to the laptop sign on without any problems. Also on my desktop if I use Edge to logon to the site I am successful.

Questo sta diventando piuttosto frustrante, dato che sono un fedele utente di Firefox da molti anni. Tuttavia, questo problema mi sta spingendo a scegliere un browser che funzioni davvero, come Google Chrome, cosa che trovo piuttosto fastidiosa. Ci sono chiaramente aggiornamenti mancanti e lacune tecniche che stanno diventando sempre più profonde e evidenti, il che mi porta a credere che il vostro progetto non venga più aggiornato con la costanza che dovrebbe avere. I know I am not the only one with this issue. It happens across different OS'es. This issue started Oct-13-2025 and it appears to work when using Firefox ESR 146.01 but not the regular Firefox 146.01 versions. Tangerine is not giving me information on the error and I was wondering if there is a difference between the ESR and regular version that might clear up this issue?

Couple of updates back, Firefox quit working as before on a particular webpage. See attached images. Describing the webpage, this is from an embedded server on a Burk Arc Solo radio transmitter monitoring and control system. Accessing the webpage allows control over the transmitters in addition to getting readings on the performance of the units. The Edge browser shows how it's supposed to look, meter names and data values, they self refresh and show changes dynamically. Why is the Firefox no longer doing this? Note: this is at a remote site using remote desktop to access the machine watching the Burk. The machine is Windows 11.
