I tried refresh and the 'title bar' customize tickbox, but title bar refuses to display page / tab title text. See image attached. Previous versions up to Firefox 69 on MacOSX 10.9.5 all display text as always. And text appears on title bar with MacOSX 10.12 - but I need to use 10.9.5 for other reasons. My only extention is uBlock origin and only three add-ons see image attached. Any help resolving appreaiated as Macosx is still officially supported. Thanks

v70 seems to have reset my config settings and brought back the urlbar suggestions dropdown.
When I had this same problem back in v65, it was solved by going to about:config, search for "browser.urlbar.maxRichResults", and set the value to 0. FF V70 has reset the value to 10.
When I try to reset the value to 0, though, double-clicking on the value gives me a blank dropdown menu, and FF immediately locks-up (completely unresponsive and a beachballing cursor), and I have to force-quit. I get the same result by right-clicking the value and selecting Modify. So, now I'm stuck with the urlbar suggestions, and apparently I can't edit *any* config settings.

I cloned the my FF profile from a well set-up computer A to a new computer B following the instructions at https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/back-and-restore-information-firefox-profiles . I gave the profile on comp. B a new name.
The operation seems to have been successful, except for the tab syncing feature. I don't see the tabs from both A and B in the synced tabs dialog. Instead, I see tabs open on the one or the other computer, or a combination thereof.
If I had to guess I would assume that each profile has a unique ID, invisible to the user but determinant for distinquishing devices (profiles).
If accurate: how to change that Id?

It seems like the feature is super bugged and fundamentally flawed. Not only is it halfbaked, but I have very little to no control over how it works. I end up with 40 hidden pages because of my style of browsing. Even using the Simple tab groups gets unnecessarily convoluted. Ive got like 60 hidden tabs in this browser window alone, but they arent displayed logically and you cant tell if they are assigned to another window in STG or what. So, whats the point of it? Why must I, as someone with amply memory and storage, must deal with its illogical behavior?

I need to use the Dialogic DMG2000 media gateway in my work. This is not a new solution, but it works fine and no one will allow it to be thrown out.
He was handed to me by a colleague who uses solutions from Microsoft and is not oriented at others. I use only Unix and MS Windows saw only in the picture.
I went to the web-console of the mentioned device, and found that I was squeezing a blank screen. At the same time, the content of the page is served and can be viewed with the ^U.

I believe that the firmware of this gateway is based on solutions from Microsoft, and this page code carries some of their specifics.
I tried using the browsers FireFox, Safari and SeaMonkey. The result is the same everywhere - a blank page.
Will I be able to work with this console using FireFox and what do I need to do for this?

A few months ago I started Firefox in safe mode ( I don't remember why because it was so long ago). After quitting Firefox and starting it up again I lost ALL my bookmarks and other settings (my profile). I researched how to find them again but it would not let me install the old profile. It simply refused to return to the older profile for some kind of security issue. Can anyone explain why this happened and how I can at least get my old bookmarks back?
P.S. The reason I didn't report this earlier is that there was NO WAY I could access this support area even through my account. I now seem to be able to do this so perhaps it was a technical issue with Mozilla that has now been resolved.

Hello Everyone !
This happens on Mac OS 10.9 / iMac and 10.12.x MacBookPro 2017 with actual Firefox 68.x 64Bit
When I read news or facebook, I like to open interesting links in new tabs (via secondary mouse click) in order to not disturb the reading flow of the main page, so after reading the newly opened tab, I will return to the first tab, where facebook or lets say, some news mainpage is.
In order to navigate through pages I scroll the mouse ball or the magic mouse (Apple) . But in 30% of the cases, when I return back to the first tab, scrolling the mouse wheel/ball causes the original tab (the one I left before opening the link in a new tab) to zoom in and out, instead of moving content up or down, as it was before. When I come back to the facobook page, and it starts to zoom in and out violently, the macbook processor starts to blow hard, because of the increased processor load.
The only way to return the scroll behaviour back to normal, is to reload the current page, then of course scrolling the mouse wheel will normally move content up or down, as before.
Installed Add Ons: Ad-Guard Adblocker, Zoom Page WE
The phänomen occurs also without Add-Ons, and with Magic Mouse as well as with the older Scroll-Ball Mouse from Apple.
I already tried mousewheel.with_meta.action.override=0 and alle other mousewheel.with_meta.delta=0, but didnt´hepl anything.
Thanks for help in advance ! LG Jürgen

After updating to Firefox 65 (Mac), there is now this enormous green drop-down that appears whenever I start typing in the address bar, and I cannot turn this thing off.
I've looked in Preferences > Privacy & Security > Address Bar, and all the selections there are unchecked. Search > Default Search Engine > Provide Search Selections is also unchecked.
Is there something in about:config I need to toggle? Or will I have to edit my userChrome.css to turn this off?
Thanks!

The home page for fastmail.com lists my four accounts there and acts as the FFox browser's home page on my Mac. After today's FFox update – as has happened in the past – the saved account names and passwords have vanished and I am currently having to login to each account manually. Even after setting them up again, because I have Firefox set to clear the cache when logging out, these Fastmail logins are being deleted. Unlike google.com's efficient generic home page which remembers the several google accounts it holds.

On my "top hits" icons page, three sites (Huffington Post, Alternet and the Washington Post) are marked on the bottom with exclamation points inside red triangles. What does this mean? I don't have an anti-virus program installed, on the recommendation over the years of several technicians. Perhaps that information is outdated? Thanks for your reply! Barbara
