Hi, da anscheinend Firefox zu faul ist um einen eigenen Support an de start zu bringen, muß ich es auf diesem weg probieren. hauptsache man kassiert die kohel für die plazierte werbung. bei einem Win10 64bit starte Firfeox nixht mehr. auch nicht als admin. wenn ich es anklicke, passiert nichts und ich bekomme es auch nicht im taskmanager angezeigt neuinstalation bringt nichts danke euch

Firefox did an update and "couldn't find XPCOM" and crashed. Uninstalled and re-installed but now my Firefox icon opens a website "nine.com.au". I WANT MY FIREFOX BACK!!!!!

I just installed Fedora KDE Plasma, and have been trying to launch Firefox, but it keeps completely freezing.

I have tried installing through snap, flatpak and fedoras database, most recently I installed from the tar.xz on the website, and tried launching in safe mode. All of these result in the same behavior.

Tonight I received a notice that a new version of Firefox was available and asking if I wanted to download it. It showed me the new Kit mascot so I decided to let it install. It seemed to install normally but when it tried to open what I guess is a welcome/new features page, it crashes, and just showed a prompt to try again. This continued in an endless loop and I had to shut it down. Unfortunately I no longer had a functioning version available that I could find so I downoaded the ESR version to be safe (ver 140.5.0esr) which I am now using. Somehow I was able to recover bookmarks and hopefully other saved info. Can anyone advise what has happened? I have used Firefox for many years and never had this sort of problem before. Running Windows 11 on a new Dell i7 PC.

No matter what I did(and I did go through all the steps suggested on line) the program locks up my computer when I would try to start it. I'm on a Windows 10 lap top ver. 19045 with a fresh reinstall of windows.

I tried uninstalling and reinstalling, both under user and admin rights, getting fresh install files with and without having the security and firewall on, running it under admin rights without security or firewall. I tried repairing the program before uninstalling it.

Nothing worked. The program would lock up my computer every time I tried to start it. my only choice would be to power down the computer and start over. I was looking for a browser less resource hungry than Google and not quite as intrusive. Maybe you can suggest one that works.

on clicking the firefox icon on my screen, it flagged this message: Firefox.exe – entry point not found The procedure entry point GetTempPath2W could not be located in the dynamic link library C:\Users\computer_name\OneDrive\.javaws\Desktop\Firefox.exe.

Firefox tab crashes whenever I try to open Firefox. I have AOL and Firefox browser. I've tried the close and reload, restart laptop, and redownloading Firefox to no avail. However, I was able to open my AOL and email. I reached this help page using Edge.

When I approved the installation of the latest Foxfire update this morning, I got the message "Couldn't load XPCOM." Another popup message included "error status 0xc000012f." Firefox does not work. Thanks, Joan Karrie

I am on Windows 10 Pro (extended to Oct 2026) and use the Firefox profile manager at startup since I have more than one profile. Today (11/12/2025) I attempted to start Firefox and the profile manager window would not populate. the window was blindingly white on my dark background. I closed and restarted umpteen times but it refused relentlessly. I was about to uninstall firefox and then decided to see if I had actually installed it on any of my mobile devices. And indeed I had it on my ancient Apple iPhone 7+. And it was synced! I refreshed the sync and indeed it picked up my most recent activity from last night. All tabs were synced. To make sure I had another synced copy I also installed it on my iPad. I synchronized this too and suddenly my desktop browser started working again.

I don't know what caused the lockup of the Profile Manager but I am afraid it might happen again. What causes this and what can I do to regain control without having to reinstall? I am a researcher and I have over 1000 tabs open.

There was a Microsoft update to Windows 11 today. Immediately after that, Firefox keeps giving me message that cannot restore tab. I close tab and try to open Firefox again and again get message that cannot restore tab. How do I fix Firefox so it works again?

My firefox browser crashes repeatedly at startup, only showing the crash report window instead of opening the browser. When starting the browser using troubleshoot mode, it crashes too, showing the same result. After uninstalling and re-enstalling the latest version, the exact same problem continues.

I've scanned for viruses and checked the computer RAM and neither seems to be the problem.

I got a random pop up on Firefox that I clicked without fully reading it, which closed Firefox and then prompted me for the administrator password (aka the password of that account on my laptop) so Firefox can install a helper tool. I did, and it did nothing. Every time I try to open Firefox I get the same pop up prompt and no matter how many times I give the password nothing happens, and I can't open the application. Clicking cancel on the prompt also does nothing.

I logged onto a different account on my laptop and can use Firefox like normal, but none of my settings/bookmarks/passwords from my other Mac account are saved here.

I would just delete and reinstall Firefox on the administrator account that is having this issue, but I don't know if I have anything properly backed up on Firefox, and I have a ton of things saved on there that I really don't want to lose. What do I do? Please help :(

Den skriver: Åh nej, fanebladet er gået ned. It is the beginning page, where you come to in order to search on the browser, that it will not show. I have tried many times, but it is still striking.

I click on Firefox Icon, the icon explodes out then nothing happens. I have also tried clicking on it while pressing the option key so I can go into troubleshoot mode and get the same result. I have not found anything so far that addresses this particular situation.

I was already logged into my firefox account with my iPad. The bookmarks from my computer were synced to the cloud. I am pretty sure, however, that my last session was not synced, that is, I am pretty sure that all the windows I had open on my computer were not synced to the cloud.

What do you suggest to get Firefox going again? Ideally, I would like to bring back the sites I had open on the computer the last time I used Firefox on it. Possible?

I download Firefox with the intention to use it as my Primary Browser 7 times. ((vs Google) I did input the 6 digit number that you sent me. But it keeps disapearing & preventing me from opening it. I suspect that Google is doing something to impede me to finalize this process. Please help me get Free from the Tirny of Unethical Google!

Mozilla Firefox is very slow and even difficult to open.....I am using this browser since ten years and never had any problem....Please do the needful at your earliest...Thank a lot....RASIK MER
