I am unable to access the web with links shown in my emails. This is a fairly recent problem (within the last 10 days). Are you aware of any updates that may have changed my settings?

I am using Linux platform. Web browser is Firefox. Whenever I open my face book the USERNAME and PASSWORD is visible in the respective column. How could I clear this. I have tried several times by clearing cache and cookies but there is no use of it. Kindly help me.

Desktop with Windows XP, Professional Version and Service Pack 3. Since March 2, 2015, the browser is Firefox with Google. Prior to that I used Firefox Portable Edition. Our public library offers a music download service from a company named Freegal. The process is to click on download on an individual song which produces a popup which I click on Save. This produces a second popup which allows me to transfer the song to a selected folder in MY Music. This routine worked quite well with Firefox Portable Edition. However, after I recently installed Firefox, the second popup which would be used to transfer the song to My Music does not appear and this is the end of the routine with Freegal. Firefox sends the downloaded song to two locations in my computer which are D: My Documents\Downloads and to C: Documents and Settings\Administration\Recent. I have two hard drives in use on this computer because of its limited memory. I then copy and paste the song from D: Documents \ Downloads to the selected folder in My Music. The library has no recent reported problems with Freegal. I am assuming that the recent download of Firefox is its latest edition and I must say that it is a very fast browser. It is more convenient to transfer the song to My Music as was intended by Freegal than the route that I have to use as described above. I would appreciate any comments on why this is happening given that Firefox Portable Edition did not have this problem. Any suggestions on how to restore this function in Freegal would also be appreciated. Thank you for considering this post.

I've got this error message on a site that I KNOW has a valid SSL and CA Certficate however ONLY FF has this issue with the website. The SSL is from GeoTrust, valid until 10.21.15. It's difficult enough to get to this sticking support page, FF needs to fix your problems because this is ridiculous. I've read multiple posts from many people that FF Browser isn't working, and the answers from the contributers is to check the time, date, on the PC? What is that going to do, just so I don't waste anymore of my time. My time and date is fine.

The sites CA Bundle is from GeoTrust and everything works GREAT! On every other browser in this world except for FF. Fix your crap!!!

I was on wikia.com and, as usual, an ad on the side was doing funny things to adobe flash player. firefox told me that the script was not responding, and when I tried to click "stop script", my finger twitched as I moved my mouse, making it so that I accidentally hit "don't ask me again" and "continue". How do I undo it?

Hi, I'm hoping someone can help with the problems I'm having.

This morning I was prompted to install the latest version of Java, which I did, and now Firefox is all messed up.

At first it was incredibly slow, so I reset Firefox to see if that would help. It helped a bit but kept slowing up, so I uninstalled Java hoping that would solve the problem. Then I couldn't get any pages to load on Firefox at all. So I have just reset Firefox again, and it is alternating between being able to load my home page and not being able to load anything at all.

I am running Windows XP if that helps. Internet Explorer isn't working at all either, but my wireless network connection status window says I'm connected. I am posting this from another computer.

my desktop was not connected to internet for over a year, once it did, it downloaded a lot of updates, and now firefox is not automatically putting in my login info to some webpages i go to. password manager is correct, i followed all directions on it, and it matches what is on my laptop, which works fine. but i also had to download some program for the laptop that has left a 'key' type icon next to the home button. this icon directly opens the password manager on my laptop. i think i need that for my desktop. thanks, jay

I was always able to install extensions without any problems up until a couple days ago. Since then, the extension installation process gets stuck at the point where they show up in the list of extensions (about:addons) with the message <extension name> "will be installed after you restart Firefox." Restarting Firefox has no effect on this -- after the restart, the extension still says "will be installed after you restart Firefox." I've tried restarting Firefox several times, and I've tried installing other extensions, and the same thing happens with every extension I try to install.

I know I'm running an outdated version of Firefox, but please ignore that. I have a good reason for that.

I need to make Firefox open the actual Windows Media Player application (not a plugin, the actual app window) when clicking on video links, e.g., WMV. These file types are already associated in Windows Explorer with WMPlayer, but this has no effect on Firefox.

What happens right now is that after clicking a video, I get a black screen with the yellow VLC Player icon (VideoLAN VLC is installed on my PC) in the center and no video. I do NOT want to launch VLC or any internal plugins.

ABC's Iview facility uses Adobe Flash, and they say at http://www2b.abc.net.au/tmb/Client/Message.aspx?b=98&m=27962&ps=50&dm=2 that only Chrome will give Linux users the ability to access Iview as it has the Adobe Flash Player version 11.7 embedded within it. Does Firefox have this too? I'm using version 20.0 on Ubuntu 10.04. Hope Firefox can work out a solution! Don't want to have to use Chrome.

I will never run Windows 8 because of the user interface, Now that Firefox had been made to look like a Windows 8.... I want to know if there is anyway to change to user interface back to what Firefox 28 had?

Hello. I was hoping that someone could help me with a problem. I have an html presentation for a course I teach. (I did not create the presentation.) It includes m4v videos and I cannot get them to play in Firefox. It says "No video with supported format and MIME type found. I can play the videos if I open them externally, but I need it to work in the presentation. Please help. Thank you.

This is a development machine. I write software that runs in browsers, including yours. I would keep your browser current in terms of releases, except that the framework I use does not always keep up. I do try to keep up with your security releases. That is certainly worth the risk and effort. Your information says that the 'releases' update channel 'includes' security releases. How about an update channel that ONLY contains security releases?

And, by the way, how do I find out the number and properties of an impending update? I am only presented with a button to install a release. No information of what I am installing.

When I right-click on a bookmark, then go to properties, the bar is so long that I have to move it back and forth to have it all fit on the screen and see all of the information. I am not sure of the technical name for this information bar. How can I make it shorter? Windows 7, Firefox 20.0.1

Some of the entries in the bookmark tool bar have icons associated with them. Do they come from the website referenced in the location part of the properties of the entry? I want to know why some sites hav icons and others don't.
